Why do we love this dress?
I find myself drawn to this dress because of its sleek and sophisticated style. All fashion icons have been spotted wearing something similar, making this one by Nookie a must-have. The way it cinches in along the waist to that sexy thigh high slit; there is so much to love here.
Why should I buy this dress?
A classy black gown like this one deserves to be in every woman’s collection. The one shoulder neckline matched with the front knot detailing makes this dress worthy of being sold out. I also really like the hidden back zipper closure with the metal ring accent since it allows easy on and off.
Where would I wear this dress?
I can get so much use out of this dress! It can be worth for evening parties, red-carpets, black tie events or other formal occasions. You can easily switch up the look with the right accessories.
What shoes should I wear with this dress?
I styled the look with the BALMAIN Ruby 95mm Suede Sandals. These ones have crossover strap detailing and a very sleek look. The 90mm stiletto heel offers plenty of height while the ankle strap ensures a secure fit.
What bag should I wear with this dress?
I styled the look with the TOM FORD Embellished Velvet Clutch. This outfit definitely needed some colour, which is why I picked out this plush velvet bag in a deep purple shade. The bag comes with a gold-accent designer logo plague that matches with the gold-tone detailing on the shoes.
What we don't love about this dress?
This dress is so perfect that I find it very hard to find fault in it. If has a minimalistic look, so if you are looking for something more “out there” then this piece is not it.
