Why do we love this dress?
This gathered waist midi dress ticks all the boxes on my list to be the ultimate IT dress this season. The midnight blue colour gives it a refined edge, and I love the ruched front that accentuates the fit-and-flare silhouette. Plus, I like the simplicity of this dress, meaning I can go the extra mile with my accessories.

I like to think of this blue dress as not just a purchase but a wardrobe capsule staple for the years to come. I want this dress in my edit because I can style it in a multitude of ways for all sorts of different occasions. It’s comfortable and chic, making it a must-have on my bucket list.
Where would I wear this dress?
This chic dress is a stylish option to don for both daytime and evening events. I would dress it up for a coffee date, work meetings and with the right accessories, I would style it up for an upscale dinner, cocktail party and even rooftop bars.
What shoes should I wear with this dress?

What bag should I wear with this dress?
I styled the look with the Clio Peppiatt Bluebell Clutch to add a little dash of feminine elegance to the look. I love the faux pearl detailing on this cutch. Plus, I can easily opt for pearl jewelry to complement it.
What we don't love about this dress?
I don’t like the crew neckline on this dress. I believe the dress would have looked better with a V-neckline as it would have matched the back V-neckline style as well.
