The base of Muuñ’s ‘Mina’ tote has been hand-woven by skilled craftspeople in Nyariga, Ghana from straw – it takes up to three days to complete before the rest is assembled and finished at the brand’s workshop in France. The canvas straps match the durable lining, while the inside offers plenty of room for your wallet, phone, sunglasses and a book (or tablet).

MUUÑ

Audrey David launched MUUÑ after coming across a traditional Ghanaian basket created by the brand’s co-founder, Tahiru – an expert in West African straw-weaving. Inspired by “Scandinavian design” combined with “Japanese minimalism”, each bag in the collection is handmade by local craftsmen using carefully selected materials and time-honored techniques.
